How can I ensure that I am safely burning and caring for my candle?

Poet safety is #1. Please follow the instructions below to ensure that you are burning your candle(s) in a clean and safe way:
. Always burn candle within sight

. Do not burn candle for longer than 2 hours at a time
. Keep burning candles away from flammable materials, children and pets
. Do not light candle on or near any objects that can catch fire

. Do not place candle on or near other heat sources
. Keep the lid on when candle is not in use and remove all wick trimmings from the jar after trimming
. Do not place candle in a draft filled area such as a hallway, near a window or by a fireplace

Do you accept refunds?

Unfortunately no refunds are processed on candles or gift cards

What makes the brand eco-friendly?

All our candles are made from 100% soy wax and hand poured into 100% recyclable cans.

We also run a recycling program that allows our Poets to play a role in loving up on our ecosystem. Poets who trade in their used cans can get $$ off their next orders or even a free candle! Contact us to learn more.

Does every candle come with a poetry card?

At this time, only selected candles come with customized cards. Visit our shop to learn more.

Why is the wax in my candle textured?

Soy wax candles often leave a textured appearance after burning, and this is quite common with this type of wax. It does not mean that the candle is bad, but serves as a clear indicator that you are indeed burning a 100% pure soy wax candle!
